I'm new to this forum and the idea of buying and selling precious metals. I'm thinking about buying silver if the price is still low when i get the money for it. I was just wondering how you ladies and gents store your silver.

Welcome to the forum.

Investing your money into silver when the price is so low is a good idea.

Store your silver wherever you believe it is safe. Whether that is in a SDB (safe deposit box), the bottom of a lake, or wherever. Once you've accumulated a lot, don't let anyone but your most trusted family member or friend know where it is.....loose lips sink ships.

Avoid using your Bear Hands.

Put in coin capsules or self sealing bag or both

Silver can tarnish very readily but preventing tarnish is not so difficult.

Golden ChipMunk's advice is a very good place to start especially follow his advice to not let the hands of any bears touch your raw silver. And keep your own bare hands off your silver coins and medals as well.
