I'm asking you to name 1 only (per post, as many posts as you like) ASX listed stock that is your must have in your portfolio and the reasons why. No need to argue about other peoples choices on here but looking for input from others about these stocks.
This is 'long term' only which I would consider up to 5+ years.
Ill start another thread on others stock for those interested after this has run its course.
**No investment advice sought or given, for peoples research and interest purposes only in this thread.
Ill start with CSL.ASX
Pro's: Its unique business in many ways, long history, pays dividends, aging population health care.
Cons: High price, P/E ratio high

ASX: MLL
Lithium is the main component in electric storage be it home or car, MLL is the 5th largest lithium deposit on the planet & a recent resource upgrade & increase in purity puts the mine life over 16yrs. When all the battery mega factory’s under construction in Europe become operational MLL has the essential raw material to supply with the possibility to produce concentrate onsite massively reducing transport costs.
They also hold a lot of gold rich land surrounding an existing gold processing plant which in the past has paid millions in royalty’s to MML.

I think short term gain to be good but long term could be massive.

ADT base metal and precious metals project located in Bosnia with a IRR of 107% on its scoping studies
I second ADT - real potential in the current price. I like it. Reasons: Current NPV >USD$900M, MCap USD$280M.
However, I don't commit to companies as long-term holds. I hold only while ever they are showing potential.
I am a disloyal, price-rise-potential, ASX code slut.

EOS for the long term. I'll buy when I offload my ADT holdings in the short term. :D

Or maybe sooner if Argonauts wins the first at Sale tomorrow paying $10. :p

CBA.AX Because I'm getting too old to have large percentages tied up in speculative, volatile plays, as much fun as they are. People are worried about banks at the moment so the price is low. CBA is the best bank in Australia. Buy now and collect dividends for the rest of your life.
