My wife was not happy with Perth Mint today. Not. Happy. At. All.

Dammit! Just when I thought my savings account could collect some fiat because there weren't any coins around that I wanted to buy, these things come along! Gahh!
 
perhaps they made a mistake listing this early, I wonder why perth mint listed them with the other releases for 30th. :/

ps I should have read the listing looks as though it's presale by downies
 
I would think only the 1500 coin sets could "potentially" be a hit. Especially since there is only 1500 sets with the transporter cases.

Someone just took out the entire preorder allotment from a certain dealer in the last 2 hours (had 20 in stock this morning now all gone). So I think this particular 2 coin set will do well. Although the Dr who coins don't seem to be doing that well so jury is still out on how the rest of the coins will do. Just my 2c.

Although combined mintage for the coins is 6500. But the coin set with 1500 mintage and different packaging is a game changer. I would not have any interest in this series if it is just individual coins with mintage of 6500.
