My personal silver & banknote blog

I like those little one ounce MPM ingots too! I got 6 of those one day for $1 over spot. I'm experimenting with putting them in the freezer to add to whisky as to not water it down. They are small, silver is soft, and they have no sharp edges. It's funny you posted that today, because I JUST put them in the freezer.

... also I've from Charleston, South Carolina, so that background you have caught my attention very easily. And I just noticed that you have the other side of the morgan dollar as your avatar. that's cool.

Just to diagress for a moment, but does freezing have any effect on bullion that you are aware of?

Gold and silver are stable solid state elements, so if they are .999 pure I can't see how it would. Gold is virtually indestructible, and the only real threat to silver is oxidation.
