My first international purchase

yeah it's quite funny, I think the majority here are focused on money alone.
they don't have a collectable bone in their body, they don't even understand collectables.
they don't understand what a collector sees in a collection.

Which is fine, as bullion is predominantly an investment tool or a wealth protector.
the majority of stackers will be purely investing, no real sentiment to their stack,
when it's done it's job it's sold and the money goes into something else, yeah yeah.

I think the speculative side of bullion is fun though, very much different to the normal collectables world
as speculation in collectables is purely based on supple & demand.
whereas speculation on bullion is based on a realtime manipulated price graphs which can go with or against speculators
much more then other collectables in the short term.

coming from a collectables background, when selling I have come to learn that it's not the value of the item
that always gets the price, it's how you sell it, how you present it.
so I look at things in a different light then many here.

at this stage, I'm only buying bullion with my footycard money, and it being in paypal, I don't even feel it's money.
i'm simply swapping footycards for bullion, that's it, slowly getting out of footycards.
so for example, I pull out a box of cards that I haven't looked in for years, I pull out cards I forgot I had.
basically they are just cards in a box, pretty useless don't you think? I pull out these cards and list them one by one
on ebay or in forums for rarities, and people send me good paypal for something I had no interest in, something I would of picked up for
very little, or nothing, now sells for $2, $20, $200 whatever they want to pay.

So whether silver is $26 or $36 it doesn''t matter, it's not $40+ and i'm not using food off the table.
other people are paying for it.
heh, but I have been looking at most of my cards now as silver, for the first time I pick up a card and actually
consider it's value, only in silver, so it's like, ooh i'll get 1oz for that, this bunch will get me a 10oz bar, or that one
will get me a 1/10 roo, like that.

I like your strategy ,but I still don't like PayPal
Are you coming on Sunday

I don't like banks cos I have no money in them, thats why you dont like paypal, you have no use for it.

I never have $ in my account , goes straight in my pocket.
I get best results with cash ,but each they're own ;)

It's funny how some take the piss with other peoples purchases. I'd rather the triangle over any perth mint product. In fact i'd rather a silver dog turd than a p/m product. People are still paying over $100 a coin from the mint and people still want to have a dig at something that's under $40/oz.

yes but if you sell things, like on ebay or online in any way, then paypal is what we use.
I don't expect you to understand so yeah cash is the way to go mate, good stuff.

When ever I sell something on fleebayn& if they pay with paypus, I transfer the cash into my account straight away
Once it hits my bank account straight into my pocket ;)

Different strategy that's all :D
