I was told ASE's were a good route to go, but I was also told that they go for the same price as bars.
ASE'S=31$
1 Oz Sunshine mint silver bar .999 fine brand new sealed plastic=29

ASE or 1Oz Sunshine mint silver bar .990 fine brand new sealed in plastic for an investment route?

The coin shop where i purchase a good majority of my PM pays double the premium of generic silver, however if I sell I sell on ebay, the premiums you can get on there supersede the LCS. The one thing that scares me about selling on ebay is that it takes one time getting burned to put a bad taste in your mouth, and ive been burned by some losers on their but I continue to sell on there. I always recommend doing your research on the item you are looking to buy/sell. Everyday prior to going to the coin shop I do a quick silver market analysis on ebay just to see what items are selling for just in case I do get home and choose I want to liquidate something. But since you are looking to buy silver for long term purposes, generic might the be the best route. I would go to various sites and see the buy/sell rates and make an educated decision that suits your investment strategy. Thats my two cense. Best of luck, hopefully you can contain the "Silver Sickness" its taken over me and I find myself buying the stuff day and night :-).

If you really can buy Sunshine bars for 29 - I'd say that's an excellent deal as it's almost the spot.
Just make sure they're not fakes as Sunshine Mint bars are one of the most faked ones.
Sealed plastic suggest it is, but need more info/history to make a better guess.

What do you mean by Double the Premium? My dealer pays under spot. If your dealer pays a premium, I need.to find a new dealer!!!!

ASE's and Sunshine mint are both good because they are very recognizable. I would personally go with the one that is closer to spot.
