you can keep assuming i pay attention to ZH, but my earlier advice still stands. Read a book or two and youll understand the geopolitical situation of the world much better.
The era of Team America World Police is over. There are new kids on the block who have the strength to enforce multi polarity. Whoever doesnt accept this as a fact peacefully will accept it at the barrel of their tanks and points of their hypersonic missiles.
What is happening now is disgusting and terrifying.
You are right, we are going to live in a multipolar world. The US will keep trying to exert its force upon others, but now China, Russia and Turkey will continue doing the same thing.
Europe has no word to say. Henry Kissinger once said: "If I want to talk to Russia, I call Brezhnev. If I want to talk to China, I call Deng. But if I want to talk to Europe, whom do I call?"
Europe is ruled by a cancel-culture EU with rainbow flags and a whitewashed communist ideology behind. The EU has no say, has no power.
The EU was unable to build collaboration, they didn't build their defences and countless states and entities hate each other... but hey, this is Europe.
The biggest mistakes the EU has made in the last 10 years:
1. - not making a peace deal between Russia-Ukraine (the US can "sabre rattle", but if Europe does it, then it leads to catastrophe)
2. - the migrant crisis: Germany literally invited millions of uncontrolled illegal migrants (who were not refugees, by the way)
3. - no guarding its borders: EU has left their southern and eastern borders unprotected vs migrants and has sanctioned Hungary and Poland for defending the border (!)
4. - not making a beneficial energy deal with Russia: if the Russian gas, metals and oil gets cut off (which the Eurocrats want), the EU will commit economic suicide
5. - not developing its own EU army (there were plans in the past), because Europe cannot rely on the US, in case Russia decides to roll tanks through the continent
6. - the EU was built around the former colonial powers (which have lost their colonies), now they turned former-commie "Eastern Block" countries into their colonies (and these countries can't stand the aggressive pushover by France, formerly the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany etc.)
7. - they destroyed their relations with Turkey (which could have become a valuable ally and trading partner) - the humiliation has lead to Turkey becoming more aggressive
8. - the EU is a centralized authoritarian entity that attempt to control its members from the Brussels "base" (where unelected Eurocrats from the colonial powers push the buttons): instead, they should have stimulated collaboration between the members states... but it has become a centrally-ruled EU-Soviet gang
Europe is the biggest victim of these events. Especially the eastern states.
The colonial states in the west are more protected, they are less exposed to Russia.
Russia is kicking itself, doing more harm to itself with this conflict. Their economy will be ruined.
The US and China might be the great winners: probably laughing at the distance (can you remember Dr.Evil's laughter?)
I expect the dollar to go up, the Euro to go waaaay down and the Russian rouble to go to the toilet...
