Imho coins should have been priced at 250. High enough for the dealers to make a healthy profit but still leaving enough room for the average Joe to flip and make a couple of bucks.

Right now it seems that instead of a hot frenzied market , the market for this coin is going to be ice cold.

I think this is the only way that dealers not overprice this new launches...
I agree with your price, 250 its a good price to be launched, but they are trying to make fast money, i wish they have to eat the coin at this price.:lol:
 
I think it's a bit premature to call it an ice cold market. Right now everyone is just waiting to see what eurocollections is gonna do. Personally, if euro collections lists them at 350 I'm gonna go ahead and buy one. I have a feeling several others will do the same thing. It just won't be a flippers market anymore.
 
Just spoke to ECI over the phone. The lady said they're still trying to source some and that likely nothing would happen until next week.

Thanks for the update. Last year they were one of the later dealers to offer the hedgehog.

Did she mention how many they were trying to get?
 
To all those still looking at this coin, don't lose heart.
I finally managed to score ONE for 250 shipped!!!!
It was through a dealer that i had purchased coins from before.
I paid using my Cc through paypal.
Sorry in advance but I cannot share my source this time.
 
Also I really like these coins but the prices are very high. And all numismatics company must buy a lot others coins from CIT.
On most other coins distributors will lose money, that distributors must earn in "Argali" and "Tiffany"

Me too! I bought my Argali from Power Coin too first day, after few coins sold price jumped to 350.00 euros and now to 450.00 euros
And on ebay requested "buy it now" price from many sellers is about $700.00 !!!!!
This is going too crazy again and I am so happy I bought in time, when someone was suggesting that 299.00 euro was too much and we should wait prices to come down. Yeah, right ;)

Prices maybe trending down right now. One just sold for USD$450.00
As more coins come into market, i anticipate seeing prices go down to around USD$400
 
I have out if the game for years and I didn't realise how much this series is worth. I still have the wolverine coins kicking around somewhere. Time to flip I think

They just contacted me and i secured my argali for $195 + $10 shipping.

If you havent purchased any of the coins from the series through them, dont bother. Theyre taking care of past customers first.

If you purchased one of the coins in the series through them in the past, call them and ask if they will let you purchase. Im not sure if you HAD to be on the waiting list or not. It was just a courtesy eurocollections was doing for those previous customers who have been calling like i have.
