I have resigned from the Perth Mint, see announcement below. Will be based in Perth. Looking forward to working with Keith developing innovative products & helping other gold businesses succeed. I suppose I should set up a new identity here to make it clear which comments were as a "shiny arse" Perth Mint employee and which are post-PM.

Scottsdale, AZMonetary Metals is pleased to announce that it has hired Bron Suchecki as Vice President, Operations. Bron will help the company develop new products and processes.

"We are excited to be able to attract someone of Bron's caliber. We are growing to serve many customer opportunities, and Bron is a key part of our team," said Keith Weiner, the CEO.

Bron leaves a management position at the Perth Mint, where he has become widely known over 20 years there. His areas of expertise include the physical side of the bullion business, risk management, and market analysis.

Bron will help the company grow its fund and market letter business, and develop additional products as part of the Monetary Metals vision.

Congratulations! Does this mean you have to be careful what you say publicly? Or no change?

Hello and thanks, this is the new Bron without a disclaimer signature. I will be free to say what I think.

Congratulations Bron,

Monetary Metals have indeed secured one level headed manager/analyst. I hope that that Monetary Metals encourage you to continue to publish your independent commentary and analysis.

Best wishes in your new role.

Congrats, will miss having someone in the Perth mint who we could ask Perth mint related questions but I am sure you will be just active in your new role

Congrats.

Next stop Canada.

Sort their shit out and you'll go down in stackeratti folklore, not to say you're not already, but Le Bron sounds way more famous.

Congratulations on your new position.

I hope you still have time to write long articles and post, as I really appreciate their solid content.

Congrats on the new venture.

Will be very interesting to see if your rhetoric changes...

And hey, how about dem thar milk spots on Perth Mint coins? hahahahaha.

Best of luck Bron. :)

Dish the dirt, go on!
A change is as good as a holiday, have fun.

@serial - not going to miss milkspot questions
@scrooged - fix Canada, did I fix anything at Perth?
@Agnostic - will still try and write stuff, either at Monetary Metals or GoldChat
@Miloman - I won't have to be as careful as no risk someone may say I was speaking on behalf of the Mint, but my views won't change, maybe just you'll see a wider range of them

Congrats Bron. May I also suggest a new photo for your new avatar.

Looking forward to your posts as always.

Well done.

PM was probably a place they should've given you a gold watch after 20 years!

I hope so. Your blog was often the only reliable truth available.
