Modern Alchemy 101 Copper and fools Gold

hi all.,

some simple bullion alchemy for you, if you want something fun and easy and safe to do, one day
what you need.

White vinegar, Copper (wire, sheet, bullion, coins etc) and Fools gold, Chalcopyrite in this case

fill plastic or glass tub with vinegar, Copper and your Fools gold in between

Starting to turn,
The copper from the Cu bullion is dissolving and passing over to the Iron Pyrite after 15min @15c

Finally Fools Gold Rocks.. Pretty Rocks

Interesting stuff philski,but then again i failed Physics!...so what the vinegar dissolves everything? remind me not to drop my Dragons in vinegar....

I wanted to self power the reaction so added a silver 999 Maple as an opposing electrode with the copper bar and the Silver instantly went milky and started to dissolve. oops.. lol

You know the my coin is milky threads? Vinegar did it,. judging by what happened today. keep your silver away from acids. Cloudy ammonia is for silver.. unless you know or dont care, Silver is a consumable in the process
