Well, there you have it crew! Turns out it was our fault all along! (Big Whoops!)Myself: "Well Jessie, not long now before we complete that right shoulder and the silver price shoots up again!"
JL: "Naw Cap'n, I don't reckon we're going to see no recovery until sentiment hits rock bottom."
Myself: "That must be pretty close now. People are now asking whether we will soon drop back into the low twenties again. It's pretty grim out there."
JL: "Yeah, there's a tiny bit of worry, but there's still a long way to go before the bullish sentiment really collapses in a heap."
Myself: "Well, people look mighty worried now. Some folk are even wondering if the bull market has died and gone to heaven. Apparently there's even blood in the butcher shops now."
JL: "Yeah, well that's all good and proper in itself Cap'n, but even so, the sentiment is still way too high, and until it drops off somewhat the price of silver is gonna keep tumblin' down."
Myself (confused): "But I don't understand Jess the price of silver has declined by forty percent. Surely sentiment should be low enough to cause a reversal by now! What's keeping it up?"
JL (reluctantly): "Well, I hate to say this Cap'n, but it's largely the fault of yerself, and yer good crew. You see, you are all such stalwart stackers that your combined optimism is propping up the global sentiment and effectively suppressing the global price recovery."
Myself (aghast!): "You mean WE are making the price of silver go down?"
JL: "Exactly! You guys KNOW the suppression can't go on forever, so when the price drops you smile at each other and buy more physical. Nothing worries you! You're all WAY too informed and positive, but all those positive vibes spread out everywhere and stop people from losing hope and getting depressed and wanting to quit altogether. There's too much hope! You've just gotta become bears for a while - THEN the price will shoot up again!"
Myself: "OK Jess, I'll talk to the crew about this. Perhaps we can change our ways... you know, try to be negative and downcast for a while; worry about every little price drop. Maybe we can grizzle about the sideways movements and fret that the price will never recover. Do you think that will help?"
JL: "Well, that's a good start Capt'n, but I'm warning you - it's not going to be easy. You all have lots of good habits to overcome, and a shipload of positive work to undo. Bad habits don't come easy nowadays, so you'll have to really put your minds to it and knuckle down for some really serious worry and and despair."
to all you conspiracy-minded folks, maybe this whole thread was a set-up to use this (delightful) play on words?Turk said:JL: ... and a shipload of positive work to undo. ...
