Perhaps someone would care to explain T H I S . . .
I found these little fella's all swarming around in my weekend pirate hat that I had put out ready for tomorrow .
There's a lot of laughter coming from topsides and not a lot of deck swabbing and sail furling going on at the moment...
And would the person who wrote 'BERNANKE' on our Pirate-of-the-Week Award nomination sheet please remove it at once.
It's true he's a Pirate (although missing the 'i' and the 'e'), but his beard is much too short and he's still got both eyes. You all know the rules...
Well, I took a look at the Silver price charts last night and I noticed that people who bought between January and March last year, or in October or December, are almost back in the black by now. Congrats everyone!
The good folk who bought at the other times during the year (shown in red below) are still waiting for the coming tide to float their boat.
Here's a picture of the good times and bad times so far. We can expect all of that red area to vanish as the year progresses. (Hmmm, perhaps we SHOULD nominate Bernanke after all...)
(I'll be busy working in my cabin tonight. I'm writing a list of all our crew members for the FBI. Apparently we are all now officially 'Extremists' since we all believe in a return to the Gold Standard. Apparently this is still one step removed from 'Terrorist', but we can upgrade our membership to that later if we refuse to pay our taxes.
Apparently we all get a certificate or something and we get a special mention in the Pirate's Monthly Magazine.)
