The current change in the percentages for margin changes are interesting...

Gold Currently: $24,000 = 5.23% of current price.
Moving to 5% = $22,930 (Cheaper)

Silver Currently: $32,500 = 7.58%
Moving to 9% = $38,569 (Significant Jump: ~20%)
  • End of December 2025, Silver was $25,000, per contract, up 25% from $20,000 earlier that month.
  • On January 7, 2026, Silver was $32,500 per contract, 47% increase in a single week.

Our pirate flag only popped 85% to the top of the upper bound, but is still above the blue mirror trendline from the previous flag....
We do have to survive the pre-mario reset...
But I'd still like to see us trading not only above the previous highs, but also in the upper channel after popping UP from the rising, inverse H&S that has now formed in the last fortnight.

I opened up a demo trading account and turned 50K into 140k since last week.
I am not game to swing and miss with paper, but I do miss buying...
Damn morgage... If I didnt have it, id be able to afford not having one by now.

Wet season has arrived here, and the sun's just come out. That means I'm about to go fossicking, and maybe see if I can get my car which got stuck during a post cyclone rescue mission :oops:lol That holds the itch for now, although getting my Gold prospecting gear together ready to give it a really good scratch when the ground up north has a chance to dry out a bit. :D
 
American Precious Metals Exchange (Apmex) has imposed a 10k minimum order limit.
They are being swamped with smaller orders.
The others will soon follow their lead i bet.
 
We may have missed the super powerup shroom spike this week, and encountered an earlier than expected pre-mario hickup.
