A very nice opening recovery from the Friday smackdown for both metals. Given the reports in the fear mongering media over the weekend I am beginning to think that finally the metals may be genuinely moving (to some degree) due to public fear of war which is something that I have not seen before.

I agree but Judging by activity on Trading Post here on silver stackers I’d say public have a lot of room to increase their fear and buying activity. I wonder if central banks buying gold is the first part of this leg up. I don’t see the interest in gold and silver from the public (that we have see in the past). That could be a good thing for the longevity of this run.
