Midnight to 6am - Overnight Spot Watchers Spot...

let it moves above 30, sell all cryptos to go silver
to the moon feelin again

Morning all.

Starting this thread as a place where those 'serious' stackers who like to watch and discuss the spot price overnight night can gather and share their joys and (probably more likely!) their tears.

And remember, this this is for posterity, so please include the (USD) Spot price in your posts.

Enjoy.

SPOT: $36.43
Wow
10yrs on and $11.41 cheaper, from the inflation calculator:
A dollar today only buys 82.79% of what it could buy back then.
or put another way things are likely to cost on average 1.2 x now compared to 2011

So glad for us that the cost to pull silver out of the ground has gone down 31% :) otherwise we would be chumps paying what we pay now in AUD but only in USD

Silver spot price is acting very strange now. I have never experienced this happening before.
In the last few days, I purchased 3 10oz. bars, and 2 10 dollar face rolls of 90% quarters.
Any purchase of that quantity of silver ALWAYS means a significant price drop within 24 to 48 hours.
Bars were delivered Tuesday, and I picked up the quarters Yesterday.
I am stunned and confused with the nice rise in spot today. 25.67 USD at the time of posting.
covid messenger just got delay...

Supply and demand. China got delta-ed so the commodity markets from oil to silver have been hammered. I've sold all my oil stocks early July. Got out of most stocks except thermal coal and rare earths which is still holding up.

Japan planned to withhold public announcement of ‘highly infectious’ Lambda Covid variant until after the Tokyo Olympics – media

The Japanese government covered up the detection of the highly infectious Lambda variant of the Covid-19 virus after finding it during an airport screening three days before the Tokyo Olympics began, according to the Daily Beast.
On July 20, the country’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) reported the discovery to international virus database GISAID. But an unnamed researcher from the institute, the news outlet writes, claimed that it was decided to withhold releasing this information to the public – until after the Games.

This must have caused the breaking down of prices

Man last time I was at the lcs he had a kilo bar and it's all I've been thinking about. I really just want to have one of them maybe before prices spike again.
I'm off Sunday and Monday this week and hes not open so that sucks.

he need to restock, so he went off to collect his metals, off with his shop

My son called this morning and said he found a shed he needs for his Ebay crap and needs 4k.
He asked if I might want to buy some of his silver so great time for a smackdown!
I always tell him to let me know first and keeping it in the family is smarter anyway.
I give him less than he can make on Ebay but more than any dealer would pay, somewhere in the middle-low end but its cash right now and fair.
Pays to be your own bank sometimes.
