This not true since "eligible" metal is paid but stored for someone who bought it already at COMEX (might want to sell it or take delivery later) and "registered" what COMEX can only sell.
The exchange issued a notice late Wednesday reporting that some metal previously classified as "registered" should instead be listed as "eligible" since it has not been converted from paper to electronic warrants. The shift in classification includes moving 255,285 ounces of gold and 7,686,652 ounces of silver from "registered" to "eligible."

if you guys are going to keep this racket up how am i supposed to hear myself drooling over the silver ballast as i roll around the bowls of the beast. I see the crows nest is empty, me thinks a Kookaburra may have swooped in & emptied that as well, best keep the hatches closed lest he returns.
