Midnight to 6am - Overnight Spot Watchers Spot...

...enters the control room to clean up. empty chip packets, pizza boxes, half drunk cups of cold coffee, empty No-Doze packets. "Hmm someone left that monitor on..wow...46.58...not bad, not bad...."

Good Friday Evening 2011

SPOT USD $ 46.73 - flat lining.

Thanks for sweeping up the room after last night's shindig MightyAtom! Much obliged. Enjoyed those hot cross buns too!

Sorry I missed some of the action guys. Sleep caught up at last - I dropped off on that "bed full of silver"! :)

Great to see you all running such a tidy ship last night. Excellent steering Errol43. Good lookout work SouthernCross. Glad you missed that Blythe Berg!

(I sensed the spirit of Grinners with us all last night too!)

(Honestly, part time lurkers must read this thread and wonder what planet we're all on!)

-----

So, no real take down last night. Apparently there's been some significant short covering going on over the past 10 days.

See http://www.caseyresearch.com/gsd/edition/silver-still-soaring-short-covering-rally-continues

(Good luck covering those shorts fellas - only 135 days worth of global silver production to go now!)

As SammySilver said last night, we are monitoring history in the making now.

It's kinda hard to believe that we are now only $3.27 away from the big $50. There's been a range of opinions expressed here regarding what the price will do once we get there.

Until now I've expected the $50 line to be a tough nut to crack, but after the past two weeks action I wonder whether we might just sail though after all - as some of you have very reasonably suggested.

Might be sooner than we expect!

Happy Easter All!

Turk

I am usually in bed at this hour but being good friday and all will stay up a bit and watch spot lol. I am scared also over this price action.

Where is the port still open trading silver? I thought that I could have a rest tonight. Glad to see Turk back on deck.

Regards Errol43

So the US credit rating may be dropped and they are almost reaching their debt ceiling.
I guess "Donald Trump for President" didn't help lol

*watches price*

It's varying as well - one moment it shows a recovery, then you refresh and the recovery is gone.

Yeah somethings up, sure is mighty strange. Imagine trying to buy that dip :o

Seems to be a storm coming the silver sea seems to be rising and falling a lot. No reports coming in from NY and London.

With the wind getting up we could see it get to 50 by daybreak.

What's your opinion Captain Turk.

Regards Errol43

It's a tough call. Seas are choppy. I think 48-49 might strike us eventually tonight but if we do get 50 we might not stop there too long.
