Gotta love the ride over the past week!

And here's something to condsider:

1. Person who looked at the spot price only last Monday and today: :) :)

2. Person who looked at the spot price EVERY day for the last week: :) :) :D :D :D  :o

Spot USD D$ 40.21 - and holding

I gave up watching spot constantly some time back.

It's like a thrilling roller coaster ride. When you first get on it, it's exciting and you want to get on again and again and again.

But after you've done it a few hundred times, it's boring and you want to go to sleep.

I look at spot only when I read SS and it's a passing glance at that.

I know the fundamentals. I know where silver will be long term. So I cease to worry about the short term moves.

been 38.95 -39.05 for the last two hours. keeps putting its head above 39 which is promising.

I'd suggest you follow the US price instead. As the Silver price is pegged to the USD its a lot easier to see the real movements of the Silver price. AUD only matters when its time to sell. ;)
I feel the complete opposite way.
The important thing is its price in AUD unless your in America.

We'll *probably* see some further price erosion tonight. It's still a sitting duck at this price because the moving average has only been moved slightly owing to the speed of the recent run up.

I'm expecting it to retrace to around USD $38 and recover slowly - but frankly - right now, NOTHING would surprise me!

(Except a collapse, newbies! It won't collapse! Don't panic! This is just the usual fun that comes for free with silver investing.
If you want stability in your investments can I suggest Aluminium? On a volatile day the chart line disappears into the horizontal price line!)

(C_Heath : That's Aluminum to you!) ;)

Edit: USD $40.05

Strip club poles are as stable of an investment :o, what do you think FED is buying with all the money they are making off of the world --> silver strip club poles ...

Good idea Hotel 46,

I'll be very interested to see the a.m. chart too.

Five minutes until NY Comex opens now.

The current price jiggles suggests ome shorts are scurrying to cover. The rats are abandoning the unsinkable ship!

These price moves must be driving Ms BM bananas! At this price level, a one cent silver price move costs her USD $60 M. Ouch to that!

SPOT USD $40.50

usd just had a mild stroke, the index just saw a new 1 year low. Ouch. The spike in silver and gold in usd is more reflective of the weak fiat not necessary trades on silver.

What the hell is wrong with my computer clock. Current reading 00.19. Checked kitchen clock OK. You fellows are about 30 mins in front.

Regards Errol43

Look at the time it came up 1.21.06

Looks like it's making a comeback.. It's up and down like a toilet seat.

I'm tipping a $40.60USD overnight but what do I Know.

We don't make silver and we don't make gold we make money moving silver around.

Regards Errol43

Havn't you got up yet nightstackers. No excitement hey unless the market is going up. Tipping $40.60 again. Will have to be right one night.
