If you have Kit kat bars etc... the retail for one gram is looking pretty nice, but of course, not many are keen to part with their gold ATM. So if there is a fiat collapse, and reset with gold-based currencies could be implemented, but could a silver-based currency be established? Forgive my ignorance, but it is much more plentiful/less rare than gold, yeah?99.15

No, Michael, the silver market is too small at around $30 - $40 billion value for that to happen, although if it was included in a basket of metals it could be done., or if it was revalued at thousands of dollars per ounce.
With the silver market being so small that is the reason they have been able to manipulate it efficiently all these years.
