Actually, that's a great thought - I've been doing up the kitchen and have been agonising over what to use for a splashback. Tiles of 10oz bars, then hit it with an epoxy resin coat - splashback and safe storage in one!!

I wouldn't worry about the epoxy, solder it all together and then just get an angle grinder and take it back until it is smooth, might loose a few ounces of silver but it is worthless anyway![]()
