I received my Mesopotamia Mineral Art silver coin today from First Coin Company...a stunning coin!! Shipping was free and as always, they package all coins very well protected.

I am posting pictures in groups because they are taking a long time to upload.

The quality of the coin is excellent...a lot better than I expected and I'm not sure pictures do it justice. For those who give special coins as gifts to special people in your life, this is one well worth considering because of the high quality of the presentation (such as the lovely wood display box and numbered gold foil COA for example).

I photographed the coin inside it's thick capsule, so in some of the images, there may be noticeable glare and light reflections

So, without further ado, here she is:

From a slight angle.

I put a matte around the coin in this picture for aesthetic appeal.

A few more pictures for SilverStackers. Very low mintage of 500. Each of the 500 coins is unique because each inlaid mineral cabochon is different and distinguishable from any other.

I would have purchased the Pena Palace coin but I already ordered the Mesopotamia coin before the Pena Palace coin was first introduced and, well you know, money goes so quick when you have awesome coins and medals waiting for a good home. :D

Thank you for the pictures, this is indeed a stunning coin and only 500 mintage makes it a must have for me :)

Incidentally, I went to the First Coin Company website and I see that the Pena Palace coin is scheduled to ship in January. So, if it does, it's shipping right on time. Just keep in mind that you purchased the Pena Palace as a pre-sale just as I purchased the Mesopotamia as a pre-sale.

I can't wait to see your pictures and video of that coin! It's a real awesome coin too.

Just placed an order for this.... looking fwd to compare actual coin - Mesopotamia VS Pena Palace....
The common thing - both has green insert.. :-)

@mmissinglink

I have a first coin from this series. Absolute beauty.
However, not much appreciation over the last year...

I think this design is very nice! Egypt is also a hotter topic than Mesopotamia (I think) so it may be appreciated more by collectors!
