I think this extensive discussion is a testament to the high level of interest in this coin. As others have noted in this thread, it has a lot going for it, and seems to have
much less potential downside than most world issues. While it is far too soon to say if it will be as successful as the Tiffany coins, I am confident it will at least hold its
value and probably appreciate over time. Apart from the fact that it is the first coin and first series to depict the theme of ancient empires and civilizations, and the well-
known superb craftsmanship of coins from the Polish Mint that others have noted, remember too that the Mesopotamia coin is the first in the series. First issues of popular
series are often the ones that do best such as with the Australian dome-shaped Southern Skies coins where the first issue sells for five times its issue price and the others
in the series do not. Finally, the fact that even at $400 from First Coin Co. or closer to $500 on e-Bay the coin is selling as briskly as it is also bodes well.
