Anyone here bought directly from melbourne mint?
I am thinking of buying a 1kg silver bar from them, but wondering how easy they are to sell one day?

Can anyone recommend them?
 
With all things being equal (price-wise),

I would go with Pamp (with COA), followed by Perth Mint, then this silver bar by Melbourne mint.
 
Direct form the mints, Melbourne kilo is 30cent dearer then the PM kilo. PM is recognized worldwide so would definitley choose that one.

$8 extra for the PAMP with is a pretty reasonable premium given their brand image, recognizability etc. Forgo a beer this weekend and PAMP it. PAMP it reeeeeeal good.
 
Very limited range and non competitive prices on the few occasions I've checked out their website. It's a shame as it would be nice if they were in the mix.

I have a simple rule for precious metal; if there is any doubts expressed about the authenticity of assay or the level of recognition the Mintmark gets, the answer is 'No'.
 
I picked up 1kg for $808, a bit cheaper than Pamp, and not a bad looking bar. Also had it xrf'd while I was there....

that is quite nice, its how I always visualised a silver bar before I actually saw one
