Wow ... It's been a very busy 3 months.. One little Kookaburra is completely tuckered out from his trip North for the Winter and has returned from the World's Fair of Money in Pittsburgh with a treasure trove of goodies tucked under his feathered wings.
Last meeting we had awesome presentations from Tim (the man in the hat) and from IceBlue regarding the South Gippsland Bullion history and future.
This Month's Meetup is on Sunday the 10th September. Thanks again to our Andrewnonomous benefactor for providing the venue, we are able to once again to are return to out favourite CBD location.
As usual we will have a few trading tables set up, showcasing a good assortment of precious metal from some of the local "Gold Precinct" retailers, as well as a few private traders (like myself) with a good assortment of precious metal goodies.
The venue, as always will be revealed by direct message to those stackers who register on this page. We will run our usual time slot of 2:00 to 5:00pm.
The CBD venue makes public transport easy, certainly much easier than parking, but all day parking is available nearby in Flinders lane at Sunday rates, which aren't usually too bad. Across the road the AOC car park (Manchester Lane) is also available on the Sunday.
As with last meetup, we will also be inviting members of some select Gold and Silver FaceBook groups along as well, and we continue to let the "silveroos" guys in if they promise to be good.
Tim has been promoting the event to his followers as well, and I am hoping we will get a preview of his new book at the event.
As well as a presentation or two and a quick Q and A, we will of course be holding the auction. It's shaping up to be a big one this time.
As always this is the absolute best time to come get yourself a bargain. Prices are near all time highs, but they are rising.... and if you have metal to trade/sell, you cant go wrong. There should be an XRF machine present to test stuff on the spot too.
