There should be a free coffee machine available for us to use.
I'm not 100% sure what coffee it is though.

There is also coffee sold at the bar.

(Sorry im not a coffee drinker so didn't pay attention to the coffee and explains why I didnt know what IR was)

Can I say a tentative yes?
Just out of curiosity what area of Melbourne is it going to be? and what sort of stuff goes on at these meets? is it a market kinda thing? meet n greet? beers n war stories?

Also is there a hazing for new blokes? should i bring a helmet and change of undies?

It's in the S.E area ;)
Starts with a meet & greet the regulars usually get a feed there as the food is good there ;)
Than an auction, a couple of dealers who come along will usually pull out a few things to sell
And some of the regulars usually bring a few things to sell as well
No hazing
So need need to bring a helmet or a change of undies :D
And if you have kids bring them along
As most people want bid against kids on auction item (except CK did last time :lol: )
 
Thanks for the info there spannermonkey (good news on the hazing front). Well after picking up my first bits of metal today and getting a quick 'stacking 101' lesson today (Cheers Mr Pelican), I'm keen to come along and have a look, learn a bit more and maybe even throw a bit of hard earned at the auctions.
So can I get a me+1 please?
 
Will be bringing some nuggets and specimens for showing and selling.

They look so much better in the hand than in pics. Don't forget to bring your scales folks. :)

Tooth fairy has been busy and CKJr2 will be auctioning the proceeds.
