With the political leanings of the forum becoming increasingly polarized since 2016, I'd just like to make a few points abundantly clear.

While I would prefer this gathering be held in a congenial and civilized manner, I'm both willing and able to respond to anyone attempting to provoke or intimidate in a vocal or physical manner.

I don't intend to initiate violence; I am however not adverse to partaking in it once it begins.
 
I have never been to a silver meet before. Im not paranoid but will anyone bring along testing equipment to check that the silver sold is legit?
 
Last minute change of plans and I headed to the coast this morning for the long weekend

Really disappointed that I won't be able to make it tomorrow, but I cannot wait for the next meet

Had a fun time at the Melbourne Silver Stacker Meeting/Auction. The presenters were very entertaining. Bought a monster 100oz Bar at spot price.
 
I was very disappointed with yesterdays meeting. So many bargains but I didn't bring enough money. /sarc.

Yes, very entertaining, I've never seen anyone tossing gold coins around a room like Captain Kookaburra does.
 
A few new members which was great to see. Always some good conversations.

CK's talk was as informative as ever and contained "the big" surprise :) . Some of the bargains at the auction were jaw dropping. Quite a few were well below wholesale price and barely over spot. A Perth Mint gold bar was actually below spot as were a couple of other silver items!

Next meeting will be early May. I'll post the date very soon so you can mark it in your diaries.
