MCC prices for medals and coins weakening?

"Are MCC prices for medals and coins weakening?"

I don't think so.

I'm a Neewb to MCC who acquired 14 Silver MS69 10Y pandas in the last few months. I bought all my coins on eBay and paid with Bill Me Later (use others money for free). I still haven't had to pay for most of my purchases as yet, so it's been less than six months since i started buying.

I recently checked ebay to see what my purchases were currently going for. Since the Spot price is way down I expected coins similar to what I purchased to also be down. To my surprise the prices appear higher for almost all, with a few minor exceptions.

I have the 2001D - 2012, plus 1996 sd/ld. The earlier coins that I'm interested in (1991-2000) prices appear very strong and possibly stronger than when I started buying!

It appears to me that prices are up, especially the 2003 ( two versions now so the price went up?), and the 1996 look like they are twice what I paid. Glad i bought when i did.

You begin buying in the bottom of the market of mcc in silver pandas. I think the 1989/1996/1997 are subvalued now.
I think the others 199x are in fair prices now 200 to 400 in ms69.

When a new variety is in the ngc holders automatic is the total mintage split in two for each variety (after you know what is the rarest and the market value it more. Satin now but the mintage is unknown.

Looks like it is safe to say now that those including me who bought the Singapore CoinFair 2012 1 oz medals are all under water.

Majority of the auctions in June with a PF 69 grading have all ended in the $ 160s - $170s range. :(

I dont care for it. I have the two in ncs/ngc for my daughters (i buy two of 1 oz and two of 5 oz) and i think in more than 10 years they will go for more than twice or 3 x times the value, plus i jackpot a ms70 in 1 oz.

There will be blood tomorrow?

China growth falls to 7 % lowest level since 2009... 15 global banks get downgraded...

Having said that I am in the market for a cheap 1994 Unicorn both bu and proof versions in a 69 grade.

If the Hosane auction represents a fair guide, it reveals that MCC are unlikely to fall very far.

I have two ms69s ncs/ngc and one pf69.
All graded ncs/ngc. I think is more cheaper buy the pf69 graded and the ms69 buy in omp and grade it.

whether the MCC is weakening or not, it doesn't matter much to me, as it gives me the opportunities to hoard.
Recently won 2x 2008 panda capsule for USD55 each

I have intention to submit a bid but before i did that , i message the seller to ask if got milkspot ...

And the answer is something i am not comfortable with .. So i did not bid for it .

To me , i only want a straight answer , NO , there is no milkspot .... OR YES , there is milkspot not the ..... "I don't think so" and ask me to check the NGC picture .

I know NGC pictures records are crappy anyway.. so i prefer to ask .

ASK BEFORE BID.
