Macquarie Mint - exchange $10 for a $10 commemorative coin

Well, despite of all the negatives comments, I just bought it from the internet....because my dad really wants it :|
lamp I had the same "gentle pressure" from my Mum (who knows I stack) - I also ended up giving in and getting one - $10 small price to pay to keep her happy!

Not a very good investment at all but meh, I've wasted more than what I paid for it on a night out :/

I can't help but notice they avoid mentioning how much silver is contained within one of these.
Yes, although they say that it is "Silver", and show a picture of the coin with the stamp "0.500" on it. Sneaky!

Just do what I did and send the blank, prepaid-postage reply form back to them. I'm sure they'll want their pamphlet back. :)

They have probably seen their own pamphlette, I try to liven it up a bit by adding local pizza menus and other junk mail. Not some much to the Macquarie Mint though, I don't even open those, but I feel the credit card companies would like to know what food they could get if they ever came to Redcliffe.

Recieved one from Citibank yesterday, it said "to the Home Owner". I am used to getting one in my name, but now they are just offering credit to random home owners. I should have just forwarded it to my bank, they own most of the home and I hear they are falling on hard times. But instead I filled it up with some junk mail I had lying around. I try to make them as heavy as possible, not sure what the weight brackets on postage are but I try to surpass them.

You guys crack me up

I received another one of these today, will see how many other pamphlets I can squeeze in and return it! :D

I do not like unsolicited correspondence, especially not when it's sleazy marketeering  (but the boss loves the junk mail to help find the bargains to take the pantry "stack" to a whole new level)

i got given one of these coins for my birthday last year. i had to try and feign thankfulness without laughing.
