On the 1st October the Chinese Yuan will join the US$, UK pound, Yen and the Euro in the IMF backed currencies. SDR = Special Drawing Rights. China will have 10% of the total.

The Question is what will be the impact on the world markets?.

IMO with such a large sum of $$$ the markets should soar to a new all time high in Wall ST. September and October are always a time when Wall st could take a dive big time...Many so called experts are calling 2016 to be the year of the next crash.

Maybe the M-SDR will stop this happening this year right before the US election.

What is your opinion?

$100 billion in new capital will make a huge difference in world markets overnight!

It will have zero blip impact.

There is 8trillion worth of gold in the world, and it is little more than a blip, what will $100 billion do?

Bill Gates is worth 78.5B$, not 100B$.

Anyway, world markets are worth 61.781T$. I tend to agree that 0.100T$ won't make that much of a difference, specially if the IMF is not dumb to the point of making a single move overnight.

As Kyle Bass explains, SDR's are just an "optical backstop" to the ball game.

They're just a mirage. There's no actual hard currency to them...just a promise to contribute $ if things go south. But no country ever will. It's just a 'feel good' measure drummed up to try and put a 'floor' under worthless fiat currencies.

Bill Gates is worthless to me. Thousands of shares in genetically modified firms like Monsanto plus vaccines that have poisoned milliions. Carrying out his population reduction plans according to his beliefs. That man is like most other obscenely wealthy individuals: a miscreant.

When talking about personal wealth $78 billion or $100 billion makes no difference what so ever and to argue otherwise is just an attempt at subterfuge.

It makes no difference to you. It may to other people. For me, it wouldn't make any difference if I had 1B$ or 100B$.

Uncle Bill has stated he wants the population reduced. Fact.
Uncle Bill has poisoned millions through his contanimanted vaccines (which he also profits from). Fact.
