Here's the plan

A big piece of hardwood trunk
Cut into a triangle ,so it can sit on my desk flat & the top will be on about 30%
Counter sink the coin capsules into the wood & get a piece of glass cut to the shape
I have an old school friend who's a wiz with glass ,so hell cut me a piece in the shape of the wood (somehow )
I don't like the idea of perspex
1kg coin on the bottom working they're way up to the half oz up top
The color stuff on one side

hmmmm, not bad. I was going to make a box.

I was going to countersink them into some plywood and glue some leather, possibly black or red over the plywood. Have the 1kg as the centrepiece and the other bulion sizes aound the edge, 1/2 oz on left, going over the top and finishing on the right with the 10oz.

Underneath will be the 1oz varieties, high relief, berlin show, proof, gilded, show items etc. I haven't got the coloured set. Coloured spec 1/2 oz will go somewhere.

the plywood will lift up, out of the box and underneath will be all the boxes and certificates etc.

Going to make it look like an olde worlde treasure chest with bound iron etc.

Found a place that will let me use their tools and it is right next to the hospital so only a short trip to the Emergency department.

Luckily I have a mate who's been building doof doof machines for over 20 years ,so he has all the woodworking tools & his a wizz with wood ,
So from one mate to another
I might have to pay them in Dragons
