From what I can gather we have had a few (perhaps all?) Australian dealers who have had their verbally suggested allocations cut significantly.
The angry dealers have been joined by angry customers.
Now we want blood...
But seriously I think it's worth getting some sort of clarification from the Perth Mint before this goes overboard.
If the figures that Matthew 26:14 quoted (280,000 of the 300,000 mintage heading overseas) are anywhere near accurate then maybe it's time for a boycott (of Perth Mint, not the poor Australian dealers/distributors who they have stuffed around)... but for the time being I think we have an overreaction to what appears very few facts.

Secondly, the part that I can't understand, dealers started selling pre-order dragons on a verbal agreement with the PM? Nothing was concrete?

I imagine the Australian dealers assumed that the Perth Mint, being an Australian mint and the manufacturers of the Australian government's official Gold and Silver Bullion Coin Program would supply Australian dealers ahead of their foreign competitors.
It appears that instead the Australian dealers are going to get shafted.
