lunar 1 series -- a question to ask

I am offered 2 complete set of lunar 1 series
one set is 1oz complete set
one set is 2oz complete set .

What is the price i should pay for each set ?

series 1 1oz set have been sold recently at around $1150 AUD give or take..

not so sure about 2oz... double? $2300?

1oz set you should be able to pick up under $1,000. The 2oz set if you can get for under $2,000 that's a pretty good price. Prices are about as follows per coin in $A:

1999 Rabbit 1oz - $70 2oz - $200
2000 Dragon 1oz - $110 2oz - $200
2001 Snake 1oz - $75 2oz - $200
2002 Horse 1oz - $80 2oz - $220
2003 Goat 1oz - $70 2oz - $150
2004 Monkey 1oz - $65 2oz - $150
2005 Rooster 1oz - $70 2oz - $175
2006 Dog 1oz - $65 2oz - $150
2007 Pig 1oz - $65 2oz - $150
2008 Rat 1oz - $70 2oz - $250
2008 Ox 1oz - $75 2oz - $275
2008 Tiger 1oz - $110 2oz - $300

So if you add all that up, a 1oz set would be about $925 and a 2oz set about $2,400.

The prices I've listed are about there, give or take a few dollars either way. The point is, the 2008 coins of Rat, Ox and Tiger will have the highest prices in the 2oz series because they had the smallest mintage by far compared to the other year coins.

I recently sold my 1 oz set here for $1,270 US shipped to Australia with the display box. So after shipping, it was $1,220 US, this was about a month or so ago.
