Looking to purchase generic gold pieces at spot

Abc
Pm
Pamp
Fortuna

Etc

Ideally would like to pay with crypto. F2f Sydney only!

Thanks

I don't think a hacked account would do a face2face transaction, so care to explain the accusation and how buying gold at spot face2face is a scam?
To be clear I don't know Ben84 and make no endorsement, I just don't like unfounded accusations. I have long enough memory to remember that he was here a month or so ago and a long standing thread wanting to buy gold at spot f2f in Sydney.

By all means advice caution, and terms (number of tx confimations before crypto transaction is considered complete) but that goes for all trades.

Yeah. Maybe I’m wrong. But I don’t think so. There has been a few hacked accounts over the past few days and they all want crypto deals. The scammers are targeting this site. The reason so many people get scammed is that they are gullible and don’t know what the scammers do. This has so many screaming red flags. Yet, you have two people liking your comment. I’ll trust my judgment and hope this serves as a massive warning to anyone contemplating this trade.

just fyi theres a physical crypto fb group where scammers have targetted its users in the past few weeks. all usa based but if its happening there it pays to be careful here even in f2f setting. its a f2f scam where the scammer just takes the items and runs, meeting f2f is no protection against scammers.

I think this may be Ben Bona?
If so I have interacted with him previously regarding a sale on another platform.
I think he's legitimate but I can't vouch as the F2F cash transaction did not proceed as the price was not agreed on.
Pretty easy to due some due diligence and apply common sense to avoid a possible scam though.
That's why a lot of people get scammed, no common sense unfortunately.
I would have thought he'd comment here to confirm legitimacy though.

I'm barely on here mate. But I've never scammed a soul in my life lol. I've had many dealings with multiple people from various platforms. And only br5 reviews. It's not fair to say I need to reply to prove legitimacy lol.

Also for transparency, I've had 3 x f2f encounters here and have paid cash and had no issues.

Deal 1 - 4 x 1oz abc cast bars
Deal 2 - 500g silver abc bar
Deal 3 - 1 x 2.5oz pm vintage bar.

Some individuals may know me from fb groups which I have also had plenty of deals done. Both cash and crypto. My name is Ben Bona on fb

Lastly, if anything.. a crypto deal is less likely to be a scam then handing over wads of cash in public. I've always handed the cash over prior to receiving product. I've ensured sellers where 100% comfortable and happy to meet in safe public places. I avoid sales that aren't f2f because I don't trust parcel services. If anyone would like reviews posted by sellers. By all means feel free to contact me. But again, it isn't fair to throw my name in the dirt like that.

How from what I wrote do you comprehend that as calling you a scammer?
"I think he is legitimate" read that again slowly.
Your ego is causing you're emotions to act before you think.

My apologies. I didn't read properly. I think I was just shocked having my name associated with a scam and read your comment wrong.

Again, I apologise for that.

I’ve just received messages from Ben Bona on the same message chain that we have communicated on before and I’m convinced that it’s him. I jumped the gun by calling this post a scam. I did it because the wording and request was so similar to a couple of other posts from accounts that had been hacked. I always believe it’s better to be safe than sorry and red flag something until it’s verified. That’s the beauty of these groups - we look after each other and hunt down the scammers. Ben, I am sorry. The fact that you took so long to come and reply made me even more sure that your account had been hacked but I’d glad that everything is ok and. I’m always happy to be proven wrong.
