Is insurance a compulsory component of a SMSF? Or any super? Can we opt out of insurance completely with esuper?
No it's not compulsory, but you are supposed to consider it. So if you don't want it just minute a reason why that is the case and job done.
FYI, reasoning in SMSF minutes can be anything - "Insurance for members was considered but rejected because all insurances are a scam run by the lizard people and controlled by the New World Order"
