If i saw that on the street, i would be picking it up as fast as i could. the last thing i'd do is pull out my camera (phone) and stary taking pics, lol!

Good find if its true!!!!

B*%#$%.....thought maybe someone found my two Bush Baby koalas and holders that I put on the roof of my car in their brown PM package yesterday!

Needless to say they were not there when I finally remembered three hours later! Drove all the way back and checked the roads - nothing.

Told partner and they did the same this morning even though I said not to worry. Wasn't until this afternoon that it was clarified that I had not lost the 50 oz of bullion I preordered, only $100+ of pink cheeked koalas!

If anyone notices any koalas, plus holder, selling on ebay by someone who clearly has nothing else to do with PM and coins let me know! I think my name and address was on them so I'm hoping someone might post them! :D

Are those coins glued to the sidewalk? We have some of those in Adelaide :)
I was really surprised seeing that 1942 ASE on the Rundle street when travelling in Adelaide. Wondering how much it would worth....

That is not an ASE, it is a Walking Liberty Half Dollar. 90% silver, approximately 0.3617 troy ounces of silver content. Nice find nonetheless.

Metaphors hidden in this scenery, I'm almost sure ?

What we need now is an incident involving a Junk and a Silver boat. :)

So for those of us not familiar with the area, is this some sort of art concept? coins embedded in concrete? tourist area?

if silver ever hits 500/oz it might be worth going there for a late nite jog.. with a chisel and hammer :P

I am not sure why they embed those coins in concrete. Since lot of bars and restaurant on that street are having coins embedded on the path in front of their entrance, I guess they believe by doing this could bring them good fortune.
