1 gram is sooo tiny! Is golds price limited by size? I mean how small does it have to get before people say forget it?
People buy 1 & 5 GRAIN...slivers on feeBay LMAO

Because they mistake them for grams, I really hopethat's the reason anyway...

I'd say some do, but some don't. I thought about buying a 5 grain just so I could see one up close, but managed to resist the urge :)

480 grains equals one troy ounce

Which equates to 12.86 grains per gram (rounded to 2 d.p)

Ive been seeing the 3 grains palladium.. for around $10 - seems ok but 3 grains is well small.

RE: 0.5 gram - yeah there was a bunch of those HGeP (heavy gold electro-plated) maximillan, walking half, kennedy, kruggerand "Gold" "coins" that were rife on ebay at one stage.. lots of people overpaid for these.

1for1

Interesting trivia - the US dollar used to be on an effective silver standard, with the value of a dollar specified in silver grains.
