I am considering purchasing 2015 Kilo Libertads for a multi year investment hold. Please share any experience or thoughts you may have. If not Libertads, which Kilo coins would you purchase?
What an incredibly silly bit of nonsense.magickookaburraride said:You don't ever lose the premium you paid to acquire a recent release Kilo Libertad, and they just go up after that...no brainer BUY.

I have never bothered with them, even though I think the design is stunning.

If you're after something that appreciates with age then pay a bit more and get 1oz semi numismatic coins ( lunars, kooks or pandas).

Silvers price hangs now around $20. $6-7 of that is due to futures contracts, which have now the highest net total amount, a peak on a term of at least 2 decades.
The question now is, which question is most important here: which silver product to buy or which silver price to pay?![]()

That's because many Aussies don't know what is a good coin and what isn't.

When you have kooks, koalas and lunars in abundance it makes it hard to like other coins - all bullion coins are poor by comparison.
Austrian Philharmonics are like libs as well here, they ooze quality but get no love.

I was teasing.
My first bullion coin purchases back when I put on a stacker hat was Lunar series 2 silver bullion coins. The quality of this series is extraordinary for a bullion coin....they have the quality of a numismatic coin. I started off by buying 2008 Lunar Mouses....still my favorite coin of the series.
I didn't fall for Libertads until at least a year later.
