Less popular silver bullion coins worth having

The Kiwis are high premium, limited mintage coins even for the specimen (BU) version. The mintage for the 2011 silver kiwi (specimen or BU version) is only 10,000 pieces and it sold out quickly. I see it as a numismatic item for collectors more than a bullion coin. I am a coin collector and not a stacker, which is the reason why I am familiar with the Kiwis. They are beautiful coins and from my experience numismatic coins are also good investments because they usually hold their premium (or even increase when silver prices rise) due to the limited supply and potential increasing demand. I've sold numismatic coins and made more than 100% returns on some of them after holding them for two years. However, I sell the coins not only for profit but because I want to make changes to my collection. I also want people to be aware that not all numismatic coins are good investments that hold their value. Nonetheless, my point is that there are also investment opportunities with numismatic coins that some people may want to explore. It has the potential for higher returns but as with any investment, higher potential returns mean higher risk as well.

Sorry for the long post about numismatic coins. I am aware that this thread is about bullion coins. To contribute to the discussion, I think that the Fiji Taku and Somalia Elephants are bullion coins worth having that are not in the original list of bullion coins. The Mexican Libertads are extremely beautiful and I highly recommend it to everyone who does not have it yet. It has a higher premium compared to most bullion coins but I think that the premium will also hold its value over time.

Personally I'd throw in the word "reputable" after Auspm's "Identifiable and verifiable" but that might just be me
 
I see plenty of well known popular rounds have been added to the standard list of coins.

What about Blue Throated Macaws and Andean Cats.
They look very nice indeed.

Even the Sunshine Minting Eagle Rounds which are relatively common are always a great buy.... (AND slight over weight!!), in fact I'm lead to believe that they provide the Blanks for the US Eagles/Walking Liberties.
Scottsdale 1oz Rounds... They call them "Omnia" are actually a VERY attractive round with BEAUTIFUL minting but weight SPOT ON the Troy Ounce!! (Not that you can really complain about that)
But there's a WHOLE HOST of "Non-Numis" Silver Rounds out there that are both reputable & recognizable.
Then we come to the Minted & Poured Bars...
AHHHH a could wax lyrical ALL DAY but alas the market calls ;-)

time to time I'm stacking but I like different varieties, different issues, even though I have to pay the premium ...

Well I have one. Just one. Used it to pad out an order and they do have an iconic design so why not. But the bulk of my stack is kooks, lunars and a few rolls of ASE (yes ASE are boring but I spend a lot of time in the US and they are cheap and recognised).

1999-2003 elephants were issued by Zambia. Before 2004 Somalia was issuing monkeys although they were actually chimpanzees.
