Hi All,

Looking to find the mintages on Kooks prior to them being reminted..

Im looking to see which ones had the least or more mintage first time round so i can pick those ones up...

If anyone has please reply,

cheers,

Joseph

Think ill go for the ones minted the least as a remint - ie: those with the most minted back then - hence less now available..

Anyone else have a strategy on re-minted Kook preference?

Interesting Charts...*Interesting to see the mintages for 1ozs kooks was set at 300k..They doubled in sales in 2007 and from then on were sold out.

It seems to me even though I don't know much about numismatics ,the earlier mintage years had lower numbers minted.. However if they can mint more of the same at a later date, what is the point of targeting any one year if in the end all years are the same 300K?

Far better to target coins from the RAM if you are into numismatic coins. Some of them have mintages of less than 50k but most are sterling silver.

I suspect earlier years may have lost many to buybacks, remelting, etc.

Just snaffle the ones with the fewest remaining to be reminted, as they will be the "apparent" scarce ones with fewer new ones available.

1 for 1 this is exactly my thoughts and what i am doing...I picked up the 92,93,94,95,96,97&98 for just above bullion prices and will continue picking them up if i can find them for anything under $39USD

i was thinking the ones that were minted the most back then will run out first and so on...also they should have a higher premium sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know whether Perth mint would remint the kooks 1999 - 2004?

2002 and 2003 have just been reminted. The remaining years in that range just require a distributor to put in a big enough order.
