I think the 2011 design is one of the better ones in the series. Of course, I am okay with the 2013 design, it just doesn't fit with the rest of the series. 2012 is just fugly. :D
 
Its Nice, better than 2013. I'm unsure if I like the 2009 because of the design or the mintage.

But then again, it's all about the OZ. turtle your numis.

Well it is a kookaburra ;) There's only going to be so many ways to depict the same bird :)

That being said I do like this design, the best in a couple of years at least!
 
It's a thumbs up from me, I had to keep looking at it for a while, but it's sure to be really sharp in the flesh., might even buy my first kilo kooky
 
Perth Mint certainly have failed to recapture the artistic skill of the early series Kooks. That is the benchmark - anything below that standard is a fail.
Their claim to 'ordinary' and 'sub par' artistry in this era is well and truly attained.

Mediocrity rules at the Perth Mint.
