hello everyone i am rather new to the world of silver i just started stacking about 3-4 weeks ago so far i have, one 1oz engelhard bar, two 1oz hand poured monarch bars, one 1oz stagecoach silver bar, 3 almost uncirculated morgan silver dollars, 6 mercury dimes, one franklin half dollar, and two war nickles..now im only 22 so is it a ok start into this new interesting world?:D
 
Even one coin would be a good start as it represents an awakening.

Do yourself a favour and read plenty and don't worry too much about

price fluctuations; silver tends to be a volatile market.

If you've made the big decision to stack silver and resources are limited the

dollar cost averaging approach is for you (and me).

yea i heard about that becoming a real problem as of late i got 2 of the morgans i have from a coin shop near my house and 1 from my grand father i pretty much get them for the metal value and not anything else for the most part ...i figure if i can get maybe a ounce a week more or less ill be pretty well set foward.

i also have a undated quarter it has a LOT of wear im thinking like a 1917 quarter with the eagle on the back american of course

A good place to find a safe is harbor freight tools, they are import, but do good for storage of your silver. Just make sure that it is bolted down to the floor. I like the 6' tall gun safe. :)

Over the last 5 years I have ended up with a few fakes, some I purchased others that were sent as a
gift" from a Chinese seller. The easiest way to tell if the coin is counterfeit is the weight. If it is the same size it won't weight the proper amount. Also they will misspell some words or the letters will not be the right shape.

I also knowing purchased item to "test" to see if they are fakes. :cool:

Your best bet is "don't buy if its a real good deal" but even then you can get some fake items. Even the best coin experts will get fouled sometimes. Just don't let greed get the best of you, and if you get a FAKE report it to the site you purchased it from. :)

yea im acually thinking about going all bullion as well from this point on like bars and such just cuz i know theres some fake coins out there. i would like to get a few more engelhard bars in my stack though.
