Just purchased 1800 ounces of kook's...

I think we will be at highs again in 5 years time. But I guess know one knows, all we can do is speculate. Only time will tell. I think those kooks were a good purchase, for sure better than 1800oz in 10oz bars.

I thing you got a good deal pdkbffwleo.

1800 oz, $2.49 over spot....wow....that would muti-fold extend my tiny little stack

Congrats fellow Yankee!

I can't wait to see your YouTube video on them. you are going to do a YouTube video on them right? .... rrrrrrriiiiight? :D

Hope you are living in Fort Knoxx or something ;) If I continue purchasing same amount of silver every year like this year I will achieve 1800 oz in maybe next 36 years... :)

Does not matter all that much what you paid for them.

In 3 to 5 years (or less) you will laugh at the price, of that i am certain.

OC

in 3-5 years I think you will cry not laugh as you realise they are worth about the same as today but yu buying power was eroded with inflation, as we are in for a long period of sideways movements.
I see there's another Comex employee trolling the forums...
*sheesh*
Mr Jester, once this long period of sideways action is complete, come on back here for a visit. Until then, maybe take a break from the forums ;)

And to the op- congrats on the kooks!

I disagree Court Jester. I think that we are just seeing an exaggerated pull back in silver (and also heavily manipulated push down of the price) this is just a pull back in a much larger bull market move. in my opinion, silver is going to head a lot higher, especially when you think about how they are increasing the monetary base so much, paper money is become less worthless. I think in the long term silver will perform well. And I think these kooks will perform better even if silver does not live up to my expectations.

long term yes but long term 30-40 years

nah for 2 yers it as been slipping in price it is a long sustained pull back that could go much lower yet. but we wont see $35 again for 10 + years at the minimum

you sound so sure of yourself but you say things like Nah or yers and it takes away your credibility.

In addition you seem to know exactly what will happen which also rips away any small bit of credibility you might have had.

saying no $35 for 10 years at the minimum sounds a bit ridiculous to claim

You did a better stacking job than all those that bought during the last 3 years, including me.
My latest 3 purchases:
185 ounces at 25 euro per ounce in february
160 ounces at 22 euro per ounce a month ago.
97 ounces today at 19,5 euro per ounce.
So my 2013 average is now 22.40 euro per ounce.

My 2012 average was 25-26 euro per ounce.
My 2011 average was 28 euro per ounce.
So I'm averaging down, but since I bought most of my silver in 2011 in feb and may 2011 when spot was $32 USD, it's a long way to go.
But at least I'm buying silver, instead of being afraid like a sissy to then buy in yet another uptrend. :D

Btw I decided to buy today because apparently some1 sold 77 libertad 2011's back to a dealer, he offered them at a reduction making them the 2nd cheapest ouncer (after Armenia Arch of Noah and the Suriname ouncer from the EU Central Mint (some private producer). That sufficed as excuse to order despite I think it's very possible that the price moves down more.

the post may not like delivering me 112 lbs of silver either.

The post person may not like you announcing this before it's delivered.
Maybe I'm paranoid but would have waited until it was safely in my hands before announcing on a public forum it is in the post or is being shipped.

Just curious, if it really is the end of a bull run for PMs, what is the time period that we are looking at before PMs start its ascent once again?

Taking into consideration that the bull rally was exceptionally long, especially when compared with other asset classes.
During early eighties and 20 year later, the price was almost flat, due to former investment stock sales, especially from government. Those stocks are gone. In our time, ETF's hold about 600 Moz. Those will also sell in the years/decade? to come. But what will prevent new 'investors' from replacing them? In the eighties, computers, technology, globalized production thus bigger markets. What is there now? I can't see much similar. That's why I got out euro into argentum.
Nevertheless I can understand that some don't like others to buy now. See, they want them to buy AFTER they retook their position(s) again. Now they prefer people selling, so that they can retake those positions at a lower price.
It doesn't need to be Comex employee lol, just a money for nothing attitude, where one has to play the pain side.

Ti's a good buy, well done pdkbffwleo.

Thanks! And, I'll take a picture of 10-20 coins, but I'm not "youtubing" or taking pics of 180 coins. I was just really stoked over my purchase, and I thank all of you for your support!

Why? I have it insured, I don't have any real information such as address, etc.

I'm not that worried about it. You're probably a little paranoid, but that's ok. I'm not. That's why it's insured, and that's why I have a 5' safe that weighs about 800lbs, and homeowners insurance.

I simply cannot get my head around the suggestion that silver will be worth no more in 5 years than it is now.

I agree. Once more orders are placed, along with falling stocks and QE5...PM's will bounce back.

Just saying bud. Catch my drift. ;)
