And just a fun fact:
Fartkontrol in Norwegian (along with most of Scandinavia) means "speed limit".

I won't mention that little word slutt (you drop the second T in Danish and Swedish, which makes it even harde- um ... more difficult) means "end".

I definitely won't mention the word kant (which has the same pronunciation as the long-ago German bloke and sounds very similar to another word commonly heard in Australia) which you will see near cliffs, meaning "edge".



Sometimes I think Norwegians know all this and they're just messing with the rest of the world.
