Christmas story for those having a bad day or time.
When Santa’s elves got sick, he hired more trainee elves but did not produce the toys as quickly as his regulars and soon Santa began to feel the pressure.
To cheer Santa up, Mrs Claus told him his mother in law was now able to spend Christmas Day with them both.
So off he went feeling more stressed to check on the reindeer, only to find 2 were now pregnant and about to give birth, whilst another 2 had jumped the fence and gone awol.
He began to load the sleigh wondering if the remaining reindeer would cope and the floorboards cracked, unsettling the present bag, which dropped to the scattering them everywhere.
Frustrated Santa went into the house seeking a jug of apple cider mixed with Rum. When he went to the cupboard though the poorly elves had drunk the the apple cider, whilst the trainee’s had been having a party and drank the Rum. In his frustration he dropped the jug and smashed into hundreds of tiny pieces all over the kitchen floor. So he trudged to the broom cupboard only to find the mice had eaten all the straw off the end the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang and irritated Santa yanked the door open and there stood a little angel with a Christmas tree.
The angel said cheerfully “Merry Christmas Santa, isn’t this a wonderful day. I’ve a wonderful Christmas tree for you, where would you like me to stick it?”
And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree!
