JM Bullion customer service

Has anyone tried ordering from JM Bullion recently? I don't know if they're notoriously known for terrible customer service or what but I placed two orders with them a week ago and have a question about it. I've been on hold for over 20 minutes and their "live chat" is not available for whatever reason. Anyone heard anything because this is ridiculous. Thanks.
 
Oh, I didn't order any cos I'm not based in US but from another forum, I read that it takes awhile for orders to reach you if you pay by cheque.

Have also read that it is quicker if you pay using paypal or direct wire transfer.
 
Thanks, I guess I'm more concerned that I could not get an answer after 20 minutes on hold. I gave up. I usually always pay by check with other dealers so I'm used to the slow delivery, I just get concerned that they can't be reached. That's inexcusable IMO, especially in a highly competitive market like bullion sales. I can just as easily take my business to someone that will answer to their customers. I understand that issues happen that can temporarily hinder customer support, but communicate that then. Thank you for your responses.
 
I have never had a problem with JMBULLION. Eight flawless orders so far this year. I do everything online and you can trace your order status online. You can take your money anywhere but hard to beat their prices.

I've placed 1 order in the past with JM and I had no issues, this may be a one-off incident but it's frustrating when you can't get a hold of a company you've given money to.
 
Yeah, I have read some orders take quite awhile to reach but so far haven't come across any reports of non-deliveries yet.

So I would advise you could try waiting for their customer service reps (I've waited close to an hr for an airline rep before) just to check on the status of your cheque.

If you place your order online and pay by check, you can track online without needing a phone call or waiting for online help. Its all right there in your account up to the minute status.

Thanks nipper. I've been known to be very impatient so sometimes I jump the gun on expectations. Although, I was more concerned about the inability to get a hold of someone. That is a real basic element of a successful business. My account finally updated to check received so no worries there but I still haven't heard back from a rep after I emailed them. I appreciate all you guys and your helpful feedback.
