James Rickards. What do you think of his analysis, opinions, and/or predictions?

I'm trying to take on diverse viewpoints, leaving my own thoughts out of it.

He is a spook undoubtably, he admittedly works for "them" and is an agent of propaganda.

He makes my skin crawl.

Nothing special about him imo. Read his book a few years ago. Seen him on TV a few times, but haven't seen him for a long time now. In terms of predictions I would say he's no better or worse than the average pundit. Just one of a large crowd and doesn't particularly stand out in my mind.

I liked his book currency wars for the history, I thought it ended a bit abruptly and simplistic. But there you go. Just another opinion, hear em all and try to live with the decisions you actually make.

The part at the beginning of the book where he was trying to impress people of how important he is considered to be and that he was a "select group" at the Pentagon was also just pure wankery.

Less and less as time goes on.

Writing a book & publishing a newsletter is one thing (no problems with this).

Then there's those who pimp out their name to sell trading systems promising hundreds or thousands of percent return... seems like Rickards has turned into that guy: http://research.agorafinancial.com/research/html/cwa_impact_0415

Sounds too good to be true. The big question is, who would buy it?
