Satoshi was just average joe living on the west coast. Satoshi was just in the right online forum at the right time. Bitcoin was based on Bitgold using Hashcash. The original Bitcoin code was a fairly amateurish coder knocking off ideas and code from Hal Finney's website. I guess when Satoshi realized the magnitude of Bitcoin, that this was a certain death sentence, he disappeared forever (or died if he was Finney all along).

Yep there's no free money in bitcoin and you definitely earn it. Instos dropped out I would say at $25k and I reckon the weak hands will be tested there first.
