Actually these coins are pretty nice, and they certainly have some historic value. In 20 years (when IS will hopefully only be a very distant memory) you can show them to your kids and talk about how evil Islam (or people!) can be. But if you buy these coins you will be financially supporting the IS, so you can be imprisoned, right?

It has been suggested by KP Numismatics that the US will ban ownership and I can only imagine that Australia will follow suit.
Purchasing will also possibly put you on the wrong kind of radar - and I don't mean the ISIS one.
I agree that in the future they will make great collectables, but in the meantime they may prove far more trouble than they will ever be worth.

my best mate is a muslim and I am not we get on fine I am happy to hear about others faiths I find it interesting so why would these people in the mosque be any different ?
maybe extremists use it as an excuse to do some of the things they do from all religions but I don't see why the US has to inflict its beliefs on the rest of the world, why not just let people be who they are are we so scared we have to make everyone like us to feel better about who we are?

I think they will be around a while but not how they are currently. The USA are trying to bomb them out of existence currently as well as other nations. Well wearing an orange jumpsuit is inciting racism and hitting close to home for some whos country men have been/ are being grossly mistreated.
As for the bible bashing, you would probably just be ignored for the most part.
If a single human being came to your church (assuming you are religious) and began offering readings or scripture of a different God would you resort to violence?
It happens everyday in the city, Catholics, evangelists, scientologists, Buddhist, Mormons & the Flying Spaghetti Monster knows what else other religions shoving some charm, some reading, some scripture, a free IQ test, a personality quiz, a pencil case and all the other cokamangy propagandistic tools in an attempt to get you to aknowledge their religion and join them in their beliefs.
But you know what, I cannot recall Muslims trying to push their religion in this way, in fact, other than through reports from western media, I may have had a totally neutral view of Muslims as I do with every other noted religion out there.
My goddaughter (12) said it best, she is rainbow religion. That is some deep shit.

FWIW, I backed out of the bet because I'm "not Christian enough" to be that antagonistically evangelical. Nothing against the Jesus crowd, I'm just not a one book kind of guy. To take part in the bet I'd have to believe what I was promoting and would aim to do it in a way that was more comedic than incendiary. It's a lot more effective to share common truths with a smile than to force opinion with a scowl.
