It will be a Fake - You notice the .999 - the decimal point in the front is telling you it is less than 1% silver

Genuine pandas have the dot in front of 999.

Quite possibly a genuine Panda in the photo, but you wouldn't get a real one in the mail.

Just sent a message to the seller and got a reply in two mins. They are claiming they are 100% genuine. so anyone game enough to test it out?

If you can endure the hassle of dealing with PayPal and eBay you can try :P

That or make a dummy eBay+PayPal account, put in a credit card, chargeback if you get fakes.

Interesting - You live and learn. Not being a coin person I never knew that.
Are Panda's the only coins marked this way - Most of the stuff I ever see is just marked 999 with no decimal point.

I am only going by price, would not know what to look for if not the real deal, but I am sure others here will know. I would be interested to hear what others think, to learn etc.

cheers

If you end up being the lucky winner, just make sure you at least weigh it to confirm that it does indeed weigh 1 troy ounce!

There are many many fake pandas in circulation - and they all weigh less than they should - which is the giveaway

Please people - I'll sell you Pandas for $30 each and I'll throw in a capsule with my fakes...buy 10 and Free Platinum Post!

gee whiz Ag how about being fair - I would like mine "home delivered" :D
