Is this new PM Xmas coin worth buying?

Snow has always signified Christmas. Why do you think all of the Santa stalls and window setups adopt it? Not because it's in line with the right season, but because it's a symbol that's been adopted in the western world. Just like Santa wears a red wooly suit with a big white beard and has a sleigh and reindeer's. The same goes for snow and snow flakes.
 
Meanwhile... what's the differentiation between precious and non-precious gem stones? is it how they're cut? or the quality or something?
I'm not really up with precious stones!

Jesus was not born in a snow drift so I dispute your assertion that it has always signified Christmas! And Santa's Red Outfit was a Coca Cola marketing gimick.

We don't celebrate Christmas so I really don't see what all the fuss is about anyway.

It is still not a very attractive coin, the Perth Mint are happy enough to make an "Australia Shaped" coin so why not make a Snow flake shaped coin if you are going to go to all that effort?
